Following this Mr. Rawson held director-level positions in technology and pharmaceutical-related organizations in the metropolitan Washington D.C. area, including the Universal Service Administrative Company, home of the controversial "e-Rate" program funded by the Telecom. Act of 1996, as well as legendary pharmaceutical database marketing service bureau, ACS of Reston, Virginia. Mr. Rawson is also a seasoned salesman and public speaker having earned numerous honors as a pharmaceutical representative, calling on hundreds of healthcare practitioners in Northern Virginia. Mr. Rawson was trained in pharmacology by SmithKline Beecham Pharmaceuticals (SKB) and remained a pharmaceutical representative through SKB's merger with Glaxo Wellcome - which created the world's largest pharmaceutical company at the time: GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals.
