As an outgrowth of the Firm's successful trial practice, the Firm also engages in the appellate practice of law. At the federal level, the Firm continually argues cases before the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Stirba has also argued cases in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the Federal Court of Appeals. On March 24, 2008, the United States Supreme Court granted certiorari in the case of Pearson v. Callahan. It is expected that Mr. Stirba will be presenting oral arguments to the Court in November or December of this year. At the state court level, the Firm routinely argues cases before the Utah Supreme Court and the Utah Court of Appeals. Mr. Stirba has also argued before the Idaho Supreme Court.
